Role overview

Looques is looking for organised, confident and experienced Business Executive Team Leaders to manage and support a home based team of Business Executives.

The role combines people management, coaching, performance monitoring, administration and support for Looques venue acquisition and onboarding activity.

The Team Leader will help ensure Business Executives have the training, guidance, workloads and management support required to perform their roles effectively.

The Team Leader may also communicate directly with prospective or participating venues when additional support or management involvement is required.

What you will be doing

  • Manage and support a remote team of Business Executives
  • Provide clear daily and weekly direction to team members
  • Allocate workloads and priorities
  • Prepare and maintain appropriate staff rotas
  • Coordinate employee availability
  • Review holiday and leave requests in accordance with company procedures
  • Monitor attendance and punctuality
  • Monitor agreed working availability
  • Monitor telephone activity and relevant performance information
  • Monitor venue contact and onboarding activity
  • Review individual and team performance
  • Conduct regular one to one meetings
  • Provide coaching and practical guidance
  • Provide constructive feedback
  • Identify employees who may require additional training or support
  • Support new Business Executives during induction
  • Assist with role specific training
  • Review call quality where appropriate
  • Ensure Business Executives follow approved scripts, procedures and quality standards
  • Help team members improve communication skills and confidence
  • Respond to day to day operational questions from Business Executives
  • Assist employees with difficult venue conversations
  • Handle appropriate complaints and operational issues
  • Escalate serious complaints or concerns to senior management
  • Communicate with venue owners and managers where management involvement is required
  • Review prospective venues where approval or escalation is required
  • Oversee venue onboarding activity within the team
  • Monitor outstanding venue follow ups
  • Ensure team records are accurate and up to date
  • Maintain appropriate management records and reports
  • Monitor team targets and relevant performance indicators
  • Provide management with appropriate progress information
  • Identify recurring operational problems and report them appropriately
  • Support freelance Ambassadors operationally when required while keeping the Ambassador programme completely separate from employee recruitment and employment management
  • Protect confidential employee, customer, venue and company information
  • Report serious concerns promptly to senior management
  • Represent Looques professionally

Previous experience in business development, telesales, sales, customer service, hospitality, recruitment or a call centre environment would be desirable.

Working arrangements

This is a home based position. Full time and part time opportunities are available.

Looques intends to provide flexible working arrangements where operationally possible. The Team Leader must nevertheless be available during agreed working periods to support Business Executives and respond to operational requirements.

Working arrangements and scheduled availability will be agreed according to the employment arrangement and operational requirements.
