Ambassador terms and conditions

The Ambassador role is a freelance, self-employed position. Ambassadors are not employees, workers or agents of Looques. You are solely responsible for:

• Registering as self-employed with HMRC where required.
• Declaring all commission income on your Self Assessment tax return.
• Paying your own Income Tax and Class 2 / Class 4 National Insurance contributions.
• Keeping your own records and receipts for tax purposes.

Looques pays £10 per venue that ALL of the following apply to:

• Registers on the Looques platform under your Ambassador referral.
• Completes venue verification and uploads required documents and photos.
• Is approved by the Looques review team.
• Goes live and is bookable on the Looques platform.

No commission is payable for incomplete, cancelled, suspended or rejected referrals, or for venues that never go live.

The following are strictly prohibited and will result in commissions being voided and your Ambassador account being suspended or permanently removed. Looques may also report suspected fraud to the relevant authorities.

• Registering venues you own, control or work at, or venues owned by close family.
• Submitting venue details without the owner's knowledge or consent.
• Impersonating a venue owner or forging documents or photos.
• Misrepresenting Looques, its pricing, its commission structure or its terms.
• Any attempt to game the referral, verification or payment system.
• Creating multiple Ambassador accounts.

• Commissions become payable once the referred venue is marked live.
• Payouts are made by UK bank transfer to the account you register in your Ambassador dashboard.
• Every payout carries a unique reference and appears in your payment history.
• Payouts are typically processed within 14 days of the venue going live.
• Looques may withhold or reverse payment where fraud, duplicate or policy breach is suspected, pending investigation.
• You are responsible for providing accurate bank and identity details. Looques is not liable for payments sent to details you supplied incorrectly.

• Each venue can only be attributed to one Ambassador — the first valid referral in our system wins.
• If a venue is already registered on Looques (with or without another Ambassador), no commission is payable.
• Re-submitting the same venue, or submitting minor variations of the same venue (different spelling, address format, etc.), is treated as a duplicate.
• Referrals for venues that already appear in the Looques pipeline via our own outreach are not eligible.
• Disputes over attribution are decided by Looques at its sole discretion, based on the timestamp and evidence in our system.

Either party may end the Ambassador relationship at any time. Looques may suspend or terminate your Ambassador account for breach of these terms. Commissions already payable at the point of termination for genuine, verified referrals will still be paid.
