Looques Ltd (“Looques”, “we”, “us”) is a company registered in England & Wales, company number 15 412 903, registered office 20–22 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

• Account: name, email, phone (optional), password hash, profile photo, preferred language.
• Bookings: venues visited, timestamps, price paid, refund history.
• Payments: handled by our processor Stripe; we store only the last 4 digits and card type.
• Location: approximate device location when the map is open, only with your consent.
• Communications: messages you send to support, hosts or other users.
• Device: IP address, browser type, OS, crash logs.

• To provide the service — showing you nearby venues, processing bookings, issuing QR codes.
• To keep the platform safe — fraud detection, banning bad actors.
• To comply with legal obligations — VAT records for 6 years, safety reporting.
• To improve the product — aggregated, non-identifiable analytics.
• To contact you — service notifications and, only with opt-in, marketing emails.

Contract (bookings, payments), legitimate interest (security, product improvement), consent (marketing, location), and legal obligation (tax, safety).

• Venue hosts — first name and booking code, so they can grant you access.
• Sub-processors — Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), Cloudflare (hosting), Resend (email). All within UK/EU or under adequate transfer safeguards.
• Authorities — only when legally required or to prevent harm.

Account data: until you close the account. Booking receipts: 6 years (UK tax law). Support chats: 2 years. Location logs: 30 days.

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and to withdraw consent. Exercise any right by emailing privacy@looques.com. You can also complain to the UK ICO (ico.org.uk).
